PVFC's Members - Everybody Contributes

Purcellville Volunteer Fire Company prides itself on the sense of family our members have. The majority of our members participate in a firefighting role, but we have room for any person willing to volunteer.

• Operational - These members take care of the day-to-day activities of the station. They participate in firefighting activities on top of their Operational Duties.
• Administrative - These members assist in daily operations of the station but not in a Fire Fighting role.
• LCFR Staff - These members are career staff from Loudoun County Fire & Rescue. They are used to work the day shifts at the Fire Company.
• Auxiliary - These members do not participate in any fire fighting activities. They are a separate organization that runs the canteen unit in a support role as well as other duties.

The Firefighters are assigned to Duty Crews that have rotating schedules. PVFC currently has six Duty Crews.
