The Town of Purcellville turned out to commemorate the 10th year anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the US in ceremonies at The Tabernacle and Fireman's Field. Unveiled was the First Responder monument made out of a piece of the World Trade Center, to be on permanent display at Fireman's Field. Scores of the town's first responders -- police, rescue and fire -- were recognized during the ceremonies and received a standing ovation from those assembled.
