At around 7:30 PM on Thursday May 22, 2009 Tower 602 was dispatched, along with other units to a reported structure fire at the Leesburg Auto Wash. Soon after, based on reports from the scene, Battalion Chief 602 asked for a second alarm, calling Engine 602 as well. Tower 602 was used throughout the night as a centerpiece to the aerial attack of the structure. Engine 602 was tasked as RIT.
